Amanda Trautmann is a marketing strategy consultant for nonprofits whose missions she believes in. After graduating from Princeton University, she worked in Paris for Doctors of the World, which provides emergency care to refugees and minority groups facing human rights violations. During that year, God spoke clearly to her: “Now you know too much about the suffering in this world to ever fully turn your back on it.” And at every subsequent step in her story, she has felt God calling her back to empowering people others leave behind.
She spent three years working for a democracy-building nonprofit in Central Europe before earning a joint MBA/Masters in International Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. From there, she moved into the business world, spending 7 years as a Brand Manager for Johnson & Johnson with the goal of using those skills to mentor nonprofits. She is very happily married to Peter Trautmann, the Collegiate Director for the Navigators in NYC, and loves being mom to three amazing, rambunctious boys who are here this weekend: Noah (8), Luke (6) and Parker (4).
